Just thought it was a bit patronising and one of the guests said we were punching above out weight and have gone as far as we can go.

SOD also stated in his interview that we will probably sell a couple more players in the summer. Not sure If it was an off the cuff remark.

ah right, see from ur first post i didnt know if you ment that some arse on the show had said we had gone as far as we could go... or if u got that impression from one of our staff. good to know it was the former :)

and we probably WILL sell a couple of players in the summer, and replace them with better ones (or more accurately ones that fit better into our system)

The \"arse\" who said was ex Sheff U striker,Keith Edwards, who still believes his team can make the playoffs, he talks out of his \"arse\" every home match for Radio Sheffield.

I was surprised at Snod agreeing with him, and saying JR got it wrong with the \"power shift\" thing too.  He should be barred from all branches of William Hills in the borough as punishment.

Late Kick Off has actually made me do something I thought I would never do - yearn for the return of Andy Townsend's Soccer Night.

This'll be the same arse that said on Radio Sheff on the way to the United game the other week that 'Donny will play pretty stuff in front of you but they won't get behind United and make chances' - if only we'd put the f**kers away Keith!

Blunts fans were calling for Blackwell to be sacked and Edwards made manager earlier in the season! PMS-effing-L!

Oh how i wish they would!

It's hard to imagine many worse managers than Blamewell but Edwards would definitely be in there.

I forgot to set the Sky+ for Late Kickoff last night and missed the equally abysmal Football League Show on Saturday. Thus I have only a drunken memory of the goal on Saturday. Anyone know if it's available for viewing online anywhere?

Two days after every game, highlights are available on the BBC website.

I bet 5 bob that JR has had a broad discussion about the short and medium term direction of the enterprise; with key directors and management. Ensuring that everyone is bought it to teh next five years - everyone on-side.

It'll involve stadium expansion and I fancy that he'll be pushing to get commitment to a development to 20k over the close season at the end of next season.

All things being equal we'll be on track to being a resident in the CCC by then and it'll register the wider intentions of the club.
