The Black Shirts

Now I bought one of these bad boys. I like it and I think it's groovy.

More for the observational ones this, but how many times have the lads actually wore it. As the trainee Zanussi Washing Machine Engineer once said to his boss on being asked the question 'how often do you see craftsmanship like this'.......the answer being 'not very often'

I appreciate the blue/white hoops are the 2nd strip, but wasn't this phased out before the start of this season.

As the black kit been a success, have we used it purely to gross more income into DRFC. Do we need a 3rd kit?

Personally, it's been a lucky omen for me. I wore it for the first time v Forest away on Boxing day and we all know what happened there on in.
I've also worn it for the first time this season v Barnsley on Saturday. I think I will revert back to red/white for Plymouth, but will be re-sporting the black number for Blackpool

I think we have only worn the black shirt 4 times at most in the 2 seasons we have had it, losing every time. The last time was at Middlesbrough early on in the season. Like you, I think it is a nice shirt and it is my most-worn of all the shirts I have bought, but I'm glad the team don't wear it much as the blue and white is much better and we actually seem to win in it!!

So then Cussy our last 2 league positions have all been down to you!

Will you have the same scrupples as SOD when the Burnley chairman realises that our recent success is all down to a Thorne hillbilly that now resides on the edge of the 6 fingered leper colony?

I kid you not, mi old scrapdealing bull buggerer.

First time out last season was Forest away and debuted this season on Saturday. I'm just hoping JR reads this and offers me a place on the board in place of Jimbo Beresford (the saviour of all the suffering ex-miners)

But if the Burnley chairman comes calling for you and your all conquering black shirt will you do the honourable thing?

Is the main problem that there isnt enough difference between the red and white hoops and black shorts to the black and red shirt with red shorts? Simple solution would be to swap home shorts for away. That way we'd have red and white home strip (red shorts) and black away kit. I love the black shirt. Always wear it.

Never thought I would need the black number for the Plymouth game folks...... seems like I did. Let's see what happens at Blackpool. The cheeky black number will be coming out and mark my words we will not lose. If this works out to be true I'm going to challenge Jesus' premonitions to be the new 'second coming' on here.

I hope the team will be sporting the blue and white kit. We seem to do rather well in that.
