last game of the season

Have just been thinking...
We only really need to get 3 points away from the Swans by this time and if we do a win would probably put us above them as we are 2 goals better off than them

The trouble is boys. I would guess the Blackpool fans will be feeling the same if not more excited.....and to some degree Boro, Reading and Sheff Utd.

We can only afford to lose one game IMO. We could arguably win the lot, but then again the way we play and the fluctuating results could mean we lose all 6.

Personally, if we can get to within a win on the last game v Swansea to oust either, and more likely Leicester, or Swansea themselves. That would be fandabbydozy.

Nobody is mentioning it yet, but the more inspiring pressing game is Monday v Blackpool. This is virtually an eliminator in having the better chance of making the playoffs. Bring it on

The Plymouth match is not a banker for us though.  I have a mate that follows them and apparently they can turn in some decent performances, they just haven't had much luck.

Agreed re the Green Army.

Whatever the result against those, IMO it would still be the Blackpool game that would effectively kill off, once and for all, any play off hopes or re-kindle any hopes.

I'm confident we will reverse the result down there and exact revenge for that game. We need to avoid them doing the double over us......it does not sit proper with

Boro
Newcastle
Plymouth?????
WBA?????

I'll echo those sentiments re: Plymouth. We can't afford to take anyhting for granted. They have a few decent players including Jamoe Mackie who I would like to see us going in for if they're relegated.

Good Call Mike F re Mackie.

Best player on the pitch yesterday by a mile. Agreed, if they go down, we should try and buy this mother. He can play football and lead the line. Well worth a punt (as they say), if we cannot afford another striker.
