You would not have believed we wanted to get into the play offs. Plymouth wanted to win ,even when they were 1-o down . I can only asume that we believe were are not going any further because thats what it seemed like today. I am disapointed ( you guests that anyway) and this only shows how little we have progressed ,ambitious [players need to have like minded team mates around them, so i doubt Billy Sharp would have been too impresssed. I think J/RS offer was just the sort of thing a person would say in the pub about giviving somthing away when he knows it just will not happen .

I aggree we looked ordinary today, they must of thought it was just a matter of turning up , how wrong they were.Plymouth never gave in although we were creating loads of chances but not putting them away.trying to do too much with the ball in front of goal instead of having a go.or not showing any composure and just having a swipe at it.Rant over.

Dissapointing today, fair play to Plymouth they never gave in & threw bodies forward at every opportunity, they were far less cautious than us & that was the difference. There are games when you really have to throw caution to the wind & today was one of them for me, we failed to do that & got what we deserved. No problem at all with our commitment, but there were times when Plymouth had 5 or 6 players in or around our box, sometimes I wish we would that.

Every team in any league can have on off day, it was our off day today.

Maybe if we look at the reduced number of subs on the bench today that gives us a hint about the physical state of the squad. Who knows what injuries the on-field players were carrying today?

We'll just have to accept a bad day at the office and look forward to the next game.

Hey ho.

I feel deflated after that game, we had a chance, allbeit an outside one, to get to the playoffs, it looked however that the majority of our players didn't think so.

Plymouth wanted those 3 points more than we did, credit to them though, I have seen much worse teams this season.

to be fair we have nothing to play for we needed 6 points dropped by leicester to have a chance of playoffs plus win all our games aswell we are a team who have guaranteed safety for another season just play it out and look for better next season we all know the playoffs would be nice but to be honest out of reach SOD didnt want the playoffs so he will be happy the talk can simmer down, just be happy we arent in plymouths position fighting for our lives and look forward to next season and a top half finish this season

Exactly. This whole play off talk was taken too far, it was just too much to ask for. Were in a position now where we can just fall nicely in the middle of the table.

Nothing to play for?

We could have been 3 points off 6th place had we won today.

Even now, we are still only 6 points off a play off spot with 15 points still to play for.

The two lowest teams in the playoff spots have not recorded a single victory in their last 5 games.

Anything can and will happen.

As for the SOD didn't want a playoff spot comment, have you been smoking crack? Listen to his interview. He was fuming.

The whole reason for SOD doing the job  he does (and probably the main reason he gets out of bed in the morning) is to strive to attain goals such as taking Rovers as high as possible and to do the best job he can possibly do.

It's called pride, ambition, dedication, and belief and thankfully SOD appears to have all those qualities by the bucket load.

Talk of him settling for second best is laughable.

Totally agree, Sean wants to win every game & is meticulous in his preparation to every single detail. I don't believe for one second he would ever, ever take second best.

i can see us getting 15 points and i cant see leicester throwing it away or swansea its easy to were 6 points off and they on a bad run i have said myself but realisticly its not going to happen, all we can hope for is to play out the season in the best way we can and hope for as many points as possible at the end of it
