All I'm saying Frosty is you are known to have a vendetta against the ticket office for whatever reason, and you claim to be involved in problems with them or witness people having issues a hell of a lot more than just about everyone else.

What's that song called? Suspicious minds...

Rigo give me some examples (apart from this one) where I have mentioned problems with the ticket office?

Unfortunately many of you are burying your heads in the sand over the point of buying tickets if you're not on the database.
Ok take out the following then look again with an OPEN MIND.
1. Ignore the fact that we all know the procedures.
2. Ignore comments made by any posters on here about this subject (including Mr Frost)
3. How many times have we all said (including JR) that we want to see more people at games.

OK now lets look at Mr AN Other who has never been on this site. Doesn't know a rovers fan. He might not even know he can't pay on the day at the turnstile.
One day he decides he wants to take his son and go watch a game and he goes down to buy a ticket for him and his son and has no id on him.
Will he be able to buy two tickets???

Wellred - my opinion would be:
If it is a nothing game, example against Plymouth yes you would.
A high profile game like this coming saturday or local derby then no.

You have moaned about the ticket office in this thread. About your dad (allegedly) having problems with the ticket office in the past, about witnessing someone not being able to buy Barnsley tickets because they weren't on the database. Infact, your moaning stretches back as far as the start of the season when you had a potentially slanderous pop at the ticket office over Cat C seats/tickets and not being able to buy them.

If someone moaned once or twice about something, then fair enough! We're all guilty of moaning from time to time and everybody does it.

However, you've moaned so many times about the same subject (the ticket office) that I suspect some people just read your posts and see you moaning and then switch off to what your actually saying, thus seeing it as \"Mr Frost moaning yet again\", rather than actually acknowledging what you are moaning about.

It's a bit like Little Red Riding Hood. First time she cried wolf, everybody gathered around, and again for the second time she cried wolf. However, eventually people got bored of it and Little Red Riding Hood got a reputation!!!

So Rigo, are you saying i'm making what I am saying up?
I hope one day something similar happens to you. Although you have the most rose tinted spectacles available, it probably wouldn't bother you.

Thats the problem though isn't it. Its all about opinions.
We desperately want to fill the stadium and are putting barriers up to stop it happening.
The ground has never been 100% full while it has been open. Shouldn't that be telling somebody something?

We need to market ourselves better if we want to fill the stadium. Communication is the key. Plenty of season ticket holders knew nothing about the early bird extension.

Someone has suggested already, get someone in the town centre conducting market research on a saturday afternoon and find out why they are not at the Keepmoat.

In the fairness of balance, I bought my new season ticket today, it took us just a couple of minutes to complete, no hassle whatsoever.  A few others in doing the same and all said how easy it was.  Can't fault them on that, very organised and easy to do.

Nobody is saying that the staff aren't anything but helpfull.
The staff don't make the rules they just follow them.

I've bought tickets on the day before and didn't have to be on any database.

I don't see the fuss.

Just to clarify - I am on the database, I'm just never asked.

Well you wouldn't want them to make a mistake would you?  Just in case someone moaned that they weren't doing the job properly ;)
