Said we almost signed Dorans from WBA in Jan when we got Martis. He would of been a right singing and also got me thinking if we could of aforded his wages and the loans we are paying for ie Billy,Shacks then our wage bill this season can't be one of the smallest but more half way imo. Could matbe one for the summer if WBA go up.

Dorrans? Are you sure? He's been one of the players of the season and some Premier League teams wanted him in January for like £6m.

I've listened to the bit by Sean on there. It is more likely that we went for Dorrans last season when we went for Martis, as they were in the Prem and he wasn't getting a game. I doubt it'll have been this season as he has been an ever present in the West Brom team right from the start of the season.

I find it hard to believe we almost got him this season, last season yes. Sounds like a bit of mind games going on perhaps.

If you play that part of the interview backwards, he says that Messi all but signed in a swap deal with Lewis Guy. unfortunately Guy chose Oldham instead.
