Who's the new Swedish guy?

Our lass has told me a bloke, in his late 30's went into the school she works at with his son and told her he starts his new job at the Rovers in the morning. Unfortunately, she didn't find out anything other that he is Swedish!

Anyone know who he is and what he does?
