Prague

Off to Prague on Thursday, volcanic permitting.
Anyone got any tips of good bars and clubs etc.,

Been twice

'Darlings' just off the top of the main Square (second street on the left as you walk down from the Parliament Building as I remember).....'nuff said

Lucerna Music Bar just off the bottom of the main Square. Really cheap beer and a good laugh at the locals dancing like nutters to '70's & '80's tunes

And then this place... http://www.jamapub.cz/en/ ...brilliant bar that serves top food and free wi-fi. I fell in love with one of the girls behind the bar in there on my last visit. If Barbara still works there, give her my regards

I went three or four years ago for a stag do.  I was in a total alcoholic daze for the entire time I was there.

Highlights were:

*A club over four or five levels near the river I think.
*Blonde barmaid muddling Mojito's in said club.
*Sports Bar with a little pool area where landlord put on footy from all over the place on about 10   tv's and sold us cheap beer.
*Getting lost late one night, only to be guided by some old lady back to our apartment.
*Buying the nicest pizza for about 50p.
*Emmanual Adebayor lookalike dragging us into a \"entertainment venue\" and being forced   to watch the acts while being forced   to drink free beer.
*Absinthe

Lowlights were:

*nearly losing one of our group to the tram, they sneak up on you.
*being offered midget sex or sex with a granny.
*the flight back, feeling very poorly.

All in all it was really good, you see different things going as a group of lads or going as a couple.

...my tip is Prague is a capital city and having been 3 times I can assure you there are people out there intent on relieving you of your valuables . Stay alert

I have been to other Cities Madrid Barca Paris Berlin and know that similar people operate everywhere but it just seemed \"rifer\" if that is a word in Prague
