Thought I'd put together an XI of the best performances by players against Rovers this season. See what you think. In a 4-5-1 formation:GK - Scott Loach - Watford. Some outstanding saves made in both matches against Rovers this season. Was desperately unlucky to be on the losing side at the Keepmoat when he kept the score respectable after we battered them. RB - Seamus Coleman - Blackpool (on loan from Everton). Thought this lad was the best full back I've seen for a while. Only played in the game at Bloomfield Road, but he was direct, intelligent and never scared to take on a man.CB - Ashley Williams - Swansea. A rock at the heart of defence ensured two 0-0 draws between the sides this season. He's part of the reason for their magnificent defensive record and will be surprised if Mr Martinez doesn't take him to the DW.CB - Exodus Geohagen - Peterborough. We robbed them at London Road that night let's be fair. Man mountain centre half who seemed to be all over the pitch and man mark Billy out the game.LB - Jonass Olson - WBA. Can play centre half if required and scored two at the Hawthorns against us. The sort of player Di Matteo will hope can make the step up to the Premier League.RW - Jay Emmanuel Thomas - Blackpool. Ran the show in the 3-3 draw at the Keepmoat. It seems he can play pretty much anywhere (watch out Sulli!!) and he capped an excellent performance with a goal of high quality. Good player if and when he can be bothered.CM - Hugo Colace - Barnsley. Impressed by the tough tackling South American. Thought he gave our midfield a hard time at Oakwell and was definitely the leading light of Barnsley's team. Would happily welcome him at the Keepmoat to add a bit of steel to our midfield.CM - Youssuf Mulumbu - WBA. Lots of energy and running at The Hawthorns. One of those players who makes a team tick and he allowed the likes of Dorrans and Brunt to push forward.CM - Grant McCann - Scunthorpe. A surprising choice maybe. He was involved in everything at Glanford Park, from the clash with John Oster to converting the last minute penalty equaliser. Seems deadly from set pieces and adds balance to Scunny's side.LW - Adam Johnson - Middlesbrough. Can't say I thought he did all that much at the Keepmoat than score two 30 yarders. But I suppose that was enough in a demoralising 4-1 defeat.CF - Andy Carroll - Newcastle. Tried as best i could to put a Championship team together without a Magpie. I didn't manage it. He doesn't look like your typical Newcastle number 9, but he is. He scores goals! Two against us in fact. The one at St James' was executed perfectly and he was the calmest man in the ground when he slotted past a despairing Suili at home.Subs: Camp (forest), McKenna (forest), Bednar (wba), Hooper (Scunthorpe), Lita (boro), Gutierrez (newcastle), Long (reading)Manager - Ian Holloway - Blackpool. Miracle man. Nutcase.
