Now this really worries me.

Sorry if this sounds like a \"my mates grannys uncles brother\" yarn but my mate's (who is a Rovers fan) Dad is a part time youth scout/coach at Leeds and he told me back in January that both Sharp and Cresswell will be Leeds players if they get promoted next season. In fact Sharp phoned Grayshon directly begging him to sign him in January, but Bates didn't want to fork out what the Blades wanted for him. At the time I took it with a pinch of salt. Now I'm not so sure.

Time will tell I guess.

I don't disagree with you! But let's get things right here, Leeds could and probably will pay Sharp twice or thrice what we can afford. Like I said, My mate is a Rovers fan and has no need to bullshit me. Time will tell.

Absolute nonsense. As if anyone wold ring up an opposition manager 'begging' them to sign him, especially when he's in the midst of a very good loan spell with a team in a higher division.

I'm doubtful Leeds will spend the money required to sign Sharp, but this is slightly worrying. Hopefully he's just really good mates with Gary McSheffrey or whoever.

I wouldn't worry about it too much. When Donny went out after the last home game of the season there was loads of guys out that i didn't recognise, presumably mates and probably some of them footballers that i didn't know the face of, that doesn't mean that they're going to sign for Rovers does it?

However, Jon is right they could afford much more than we could and now they are in the same division, why not?

Seriously though - would it suprise anyone if BIlly did end up at Leeds?? They are certainly going to have some pulling power, especially now they are back in The Championship.

What are peoples general opinions of Simeon Jackson at Gillingham? Looks like he's about to bang in a transfer request there and seems to semi regularly get on the scoresheet in a relatively poor team.

I thought Billy was on holiday mulling over his options.As we were away at Swansea last Sunday surely he wouldn't have gone away until at least Tuesday,and seeing that the photo was taken on Saturday ,it must have been a short vacation.That probably explains why he hasn't got a tan in that shot. something doesn't seem quite right here.

But no need to fuss,If he was going to sign for them he be seen with their management etc when talks are done not at a party of some sort with a couple of players?Nearly all the teams have finished for the summer and the players will be going around doing their thing now,Holidays,parties,time with friends and families etc.Apart from the players we have offered new contracts too the majority of transfer/signings will be announced in june/july and even onwards.

Norfolk N Chance's mate went clubbing to the same place as a fat nosed bloke who has teeth that are slightly different to Billy Sharp, who is on holiday at Butlins in Skegness and is being linked to Lincoln City even though his mate Gary McSheffrey is rumoured to be signing for Rovers.
