Bloody staggering numbers.....
« on May 10, 2010, 09:42:56 pm by BobG »
I read on teletext today that Newcastle United have announced a £35M loss for last season and a £33M loss for this.

Remind me: which club is it that has an average home gate, in the Championship, of over 40,000? Which club is it that has so many mad batsard supporters that their spin off merchandising would make Marks & Spencer jealous?

How DO they do it?

I also saw that there's no money for new players this close season. So here's to welcoming the Toon back to the KM in 2011.

Cheers

I don't think the players wages will be helping. Some rumoured 'big fella' contracts for many of the players.

Also the rumoured £12k a goal for Nolan will not be helping neither.

If they don't spend, like is being quoted, then these may well struggle in the Prem. I never saw these as a good team, more as good players.
