If Billy......

Joins another club (Derby/Leeds or whoever else is interested)
Does he run the risk of losing his new found form?

When at the Blades he lost his scoring habit. He came to Rovers and found it again because he was part of a great footballing squad.

Will he get the same service/opportunities at super slick footballing (NOT) club like Leeds?

Who knows

After losing out on Shackell, I feel Billy's signature is the one, now, that will give the supporters something to cling to. Everyone is waiting with baited breath!

Yes it's really worrying now.Now we,ve lost out on Shackell,If the Rovers genuinely thought we could push the boat out for him and Sharp will Sharp now think we are a less attractive prospect. Also worrying is that we may pay even more over the odds to get Billy's signature knowing the fans will be majorly disaapointed in failing on both major targets.

A shame but not the end of the world.  We have 3 months to build a squad and there are better players around and worse than Sharp.  With the way some people have gone on you would think he was by far the best player in the world.  Clearly he's replaceable and he may not even be SOD's number one target, none of us will know.

whilst rovers have SOD running the ship on the football team matters i have more
than enough faith in his judgement if rovers dont sign sharp

but i be honest and say both shackwell and sharp according to the fans were must
be singings for rovers this term, allways though sharp might be out of rovers pay limits
but the shackwell malarky worrys me a tad

It is technically bated breath

with bated breath :

Cliché meaning - while holding one's breath. We stood there with bated breath while the man hung on the side of the bridge. They listened with bated breath for the announcement about the winner.

However the main thing is my breath is neither baited nor bated as I dont believe for a minute that I will see 5 BS play again for Rovers. It was brilliant while it lasted but I feel it has now \"gone\"

I would not dare to bet a pair of sweet and sour dogs boll*** on being right though a la rigo !

Anybody have a view on my original point?? which was, \"do you think he will be the same player going to another team\"???

Yes if that team plays to his strengths, No if it doesn't.

Billy has a big choice to make.I suppose it could be a risk if he leaves drfc as his form could dip somewhere else then again his bank balance would not complain.
whoever billy signs for it will have been his choice so it will be make or break for him i thing.
