Personnaly I think if we matched the asking price of others, should they bid he would choose to come here!!!!

No wonder £650k got rejected, that's a joke, I bet they couldn't stop laughing. He's worth a minimum of £1M, which i don't think we have unfortunately.

That was the figure I was thinking mate. In the football world, an extra £200,000 is nothing really, but to us, it is!

shows the void in football at the moment;

yesterday we bid a record believed to be £650k for Sharp, and Man City bid £20M for Milner. Both were rejected, City can afford to up it a further £10M, we'll probably struggle with upping ours by a third.
