Generally because the manager can see him doing a job for his squad, but then SOD doesn't  understand football does he? ;)

messed up too many times this season in the wrong places, maybe hes unlucky but his mistakes always seemm to get punished and he seems to try the impossible when it is pointless, newcastle at home comes to mind

Whereas Sulli's howler towards the end of the season was ok then? Or Chambo's? Or the many misses that Sharp should have put away?

There you go, Wilson is a complete mess, and the manager keeps playing him, so the manager is therefore no good, are you going to be leading the carpark protest at the start of the season? Listen to Brian the Blade on Dee Dah, you must have a lot in common!

Not Wilson's biggest fan and I've knocked him from time to time. But he's steady and does the dirty work. Look at the bigger picture mate, if we go down, who's going to come in, a league 2 standard player?

I'm happy as long as Wilson's content to admit he's back up.

Just maybe SOD uses his brain, we all know he does.

Sean McDaid lovely lad gave his all when fit but not fit for long enough.

Lewis Guy had enough chances to prove all doubters wrong and well !!!!!!

Mark Wilson just get on with it,as long Sean wants him the team to play it good for me ,not flamboyant player does a job asked whether you like it
Oh where did we finish in the league with such a bad player in the team ?
that's a fact not fiction.

Towards the end of the season Wilson was one of our better players! The more games he had in the team the better he got! It would be a big loss for the squad if he did not sign a new contract!

I seem to remember posting somewhere towards the end of the season that Wilson had been in more winning teams than any other midfielder, wonder if that is still true? Good job Oster never made a mistake all season or you would be slating him as well, oh apart from Scunthorpe - and Derby in the cup and...

you could pick out faults with them all if you wanted to, personally I cant be bothered

I believe you were right about Wilson for the season just gone. It has been a remarkable turn-round, because in previous seasons, we had a consistently terrible record when he played.

I don't know what has happened this year, but he has looked a much better player than in previous seasons, AND our performance when he's played has improved significantly. If he continues improving like this, Stock can bugger off to Southampton...

Wilson was certainly no worse than, say, Chambers, who was absolutely shocking towards the end of this season.

Personally I like MW's work ethic, ok he doesn't always do the sparkling things on the pitch but he can play ugly, break up play etc and he's reliable.
Jeez we've argued this one out over the last few years , some like him and some don't.........I'm one of the former and can't stand the t**ts that boo him onto the pitch. They are nothing but morons and I fancy that our friend Donny Rover is one of those idiots.

Chambers. I've got the video of the match at Hillsborough this season, when our players looked like they should be playing for Brazil. Apart from that lad, who looked like he should have been playing for Goldthorpe Hotel. Touch like a babby giraffe having an orgasm.

Wilson does the shite stuff to allow Stock, Oster, Woods, Coppinger et al do the intricate noteworthy stuff - in my eyes, a must for the squad to function as we do!

Frankly Hoola, Im of the opinion that no one should be booing any of our players before, during or after a game. They play for Rovers at the end of the day, and therefore, during the match atleast, deserve our support/ backing.

Wilson played a big part in our season and deserves a new contract.
We cant go round offering loads of players contracts as we dont have the money so we have o pick out the ones who will contribute more to our season.
We kept faith with mcdaid and gave him anher year,he couldnt get fit so we got rid.

Based on what each player contributed this season. (performances) who deserved a new contract.

Mr WILSON or Mr Mcdaid.

Its a no brainer for me.
