Leeds War Chest
« on May 27, 2010, 08:09:18 am by Gold Coast Viking »
Morning chaps,

Not the most popular topic I know, but this mornings papers are reporting that Leeds have bid 1.5m for Rob Hulse at Derby. Not sure if this is because they missed out on Billy or whether they want both players. Regardless, they are operating under different budgets to us for sure.

Cheers

Phil

I thought Hulse was a free agent?

Wouldn't be at all surprised to see Billy stay at the Lane. If he stays but doesn't sign a new contract, maybe a loan move or even we snap him up in January at a knock-down price. For now, though, I think we need to be looking elsewhere.

Two fatal flaws regarding the validity of that statement - £1.5 million and Ken Bates. Transfer rumours are verging on the ludicrous already and it's not June.  Yes, it's diverting during the close season but, come on!

So? He was on £18k a week at County, chances are he'll be on good wages at Leeds.

I think Leeds were operating at £4 million profit before the sale of Delph(sp) :(

They will still ferk up (again) when they chase the dream again. Their fans wont accept owt else but to spend spend to catch up the big boys again, in the medium term.

Next time they ferk up, they should start from rock bottom, not demote one league
