His goal was a really brave header too: at the goalies feet.
He's playing a blinder never gives the ball away always trying to play football! The rest of the Irish team are playing hoof ball!
He's giving 100% just as he did at Rovers.

I'm really proud of him - I was very sorry when we lost Paul Green.

Good luck!

You and me both! fair assessment of how he's playing too! Just a pity he wasn't fully appreciated for what he offered us whilst he was here! I've said it before and I'll say it again, for all the young lads playing in the local leagues nowadays, if your looking for a role model, he's your man!

Lived on Spaghetti Hoops, but I guess he developed taste buds.

Good on Greeny, a Rovers legend who I'd welcome back (as if we could afford him!)

Players and Staff come and go, but in all my time watching Rovers, I can't think of another person I was actually sad to see leave the club except Greeny. Typified what Rovers are all about for me.

Absolutely chuffed for the lad. First of many I hope.

How long can Derby hold on to him? The Prem should come knocking sometime this season.

Good game Greeny!
Fingers crossed he gets his chance up in the Premier League!
He'd be a brill player for the smaller to intermediate teams. Would love to see him in the Red and White hoops again one day

Couldn't believe it when I saw the news this morning and there was Greenery knocking one in for the Republic! Wonder if he'd have been in Eire's World Cup squad if Henry hadn't had his Maradona moment (and Ireland had won the subsequent penno shootout)?
