Dont believe everything in the mail, that football rumours website is nearly as accurate as they are. Didn't they claim he had already signed for burnley the other day. Im not going to believe anything unless its official because ive already heard way too many rumours about this situation.

\"Leeds lead race for £1M rated Doncaster striker Sharp\"

Spot the deliberate error there? Written by a lad who doesn't know what he is talking about. Nothing in the papers, no matter which one at this time of year is worth believing. They just read rumours pages and print the garbage. Let's see what happens when it all comes out in the wash on official sites. Remember Leeds have already got Paynter and Hooper!

I agree- I think the newspapers just scan the internet. If I made up a rumour on here (Let's say \"Wolves to sign Billy for 1.5m\") then it'd be in one of the nationals in a few days time.

The only thing that bothers me is that if we keep waiting for the situation with Billy to play itself out we may miss out on other targets.

The thing is that we have NO idea what is going on, who knows what \"targets\" we are missing out on, apart from SOD/JR of course? It may well be that Rovers have absolutely no interest in BS any more and have moved on to others who are just about to sign.......and no, that is not insider info! ;) It is difficult for fans, but in the end we just have to ignore the press and internet, bet out in the sun, relax and enjoy the summer. Which is precisely what I intend to do very soon.

Me too Barmby, 16th. June 2 weeks in Turkey, relaxing, chillin' havin' a(n) Efes(Dark). Taking my laptop with me to keep up to date with developments back here.

I must admit, I do worry about the Billy situation as has already been pointed out, if we procrastinate much longer and things don't turn out in our favour with Billy, are we missing out on other players that are available and within our budget. It's a real Catch 22 situation for the club, and I wouldn't like to be in SOD's shoes. Poor bugger, I bet he can't relax at all at the moment. He'll be giving them tea bags a right old bashing that's for sure.

They haven't signed Hooper.

look at it this way, we have a great chance with Sharp

He enjoyed his time here, he enjoyed playing here, he doesnt care for excessive wages, just time on field

If this Kennedy lad is like him in that respect and SSN are (for once) right, i like the idea we're building a team ethic that they want to get on that pitch and play for themselves and the shirt. That can be a great factor in those who survive, those who don't and those who do a Blackpool

But if we do indeed sign Sharp/Garner & Kennedy i do believe that means we're in the market for a Midfielder (SOD's words in a quote to Free Press) wonder who that could be

Simon Gillett? Maybe he will lower his wage demands after being released by Southampton.

I'd also like to see us bring in a young Premier League player on loan.

I'd like him back but if he has'nt who else could there be?

As for youth.....JET would be nice again and another striker on loan or defender to bolster our force

I'd like to see Jordon Mutch come back here, he really impressed me at the end of last season.
