Anyone but England..
« on June 12, 2010, 05:21:10 pm by Rovin Reporter »
Every time a cup competition starts ,England put them selves up there to be shot down, 46 Years and the best they done is a semi final , more even money is wasted on trying to  get this team over paid prima donas to the win something . We all know what initials  F.A stand for because that what they end up with .hahhahaha

I'll admit, if I was from a nation that had no footballing history and failed to make every major tournament I would be bitter and jeaous too.

Thankfully I'm not and I can enjoy watching my country in the World Cup... COME ON ENGLAND!

perhaps thats where the mighty Scotland go wrong, by entering Compositions rather than Competitions

What with Rabbie Burns and ae you might stand a chance of winning an essay competition as you as a nation will find it even more difficult to qualify for Championships as emerging nations of the same size simply get better

True England are not 10 times better than Ecosse (based on population numbers) but it will always be enough to qualify and get through a few Rounds and once - and I saw this personally -WIN the World Cup.

Scotlands trouble apart from mistaking compositions for Competitions is they are not now turning out the Laws , Hansons Dalglishes that they used to. I dont know why but even when they did it was still not good enough

Scotland, never got past the group stages, only won 4 games in their entire world cup history and not been to the world cup since 1998.

Come back when your more qualified to offer an opinion Scotch Boy.

Johnson, Milner, Carrick or ........ James Mcfadden

Ashley Cole or league 1 Gary Naysmith?
John Terry or 40 year old David Weir?
Wayne Rooney or Kenny Miller?

How many not good enough Englishmen are you trying to take on this season?  I hear Andrew Driver is the latest?

A bit deluded to say England will go the same way as Scotland. Compare youth football up there to down here?  Completely different and the set up in England is far better.

big fat yorkshire pudding do you read posts or just go on here to have a rant mcfadden good player who scored against france and would play well in a system that suits him a real problem for most teams look at the league sizes compared to scotlands every time you enter as stadium down here your paying to the fA AS WELL so when you compare the difference were not a bad side for a country that has less population and fewer leagues for the sfa to get money off i.e less devolopement and less money to pay our manager your not even devoling younger players just buying from abroad  so no players coming thru

so big fat yorkshire pudding think a while and respond with some sense

Tell me why some towns in Scotland have just one junior football team then meaning lots of young kids don't get to play football who are potentially good players?  Or what about Scottish coaches who refuse to take kids into the team because they're English?  See what you don't know is I grew up in Scotland so I know a bit more about it than you think.

You have to love the sad Jock t**ts celebrating an American goal like Scotland had won the bloody thing.

Our point last night equals Scotland's points (or should that be point) tally from the last FIVE World Cups!

What about Andy Murray then? Don't the English celebrate whenever he fails? It works both ways.

No... he gets quite a bit of English support when he's playing at Wimbledon.

Different situation too, people dislike Murrary because of what he has said in the past about England, not because we are jealous of his ability.
