I see Honda has just scored for Japan. And he's hardly got out of first gear yet.
Any truth in the rumour that Emile Heskey has had his name chnaged by deed poll to Austin Maxi? Big, straightforward, old-fashioned, not very fast, reliable or elegant.

I've got to say, I was really looking forward to this world cup, and so far its been a real let down in terms of anything to get really excited about.
In past World Cups, the minnows would all have a right old go in the group phases and try to spring an upset. This year, most teams look to be playing for a draw from the first minute. Remember when Cameroon burst onto the scene at Italia 90? They were a breath of fresh air. The Cameroon team that played today looked as though the last thing they wanted to do was win the game.
