It's an extension he had one year left.  Good news, the management see a lot in him and he'll have a bigger role, he's essentially the direce replacement for Guy.

I'm happy with this. I was ranting on after the legends game a few seasons back that we should give him a game because he had the signs of being a quality player then. He scored a peach of a goal that day as well.
