DRFC Marketing

What a shame that the Press and Marketing of the rest of DRFC can't take a leaf out of the Hospitality team.
I went past the roundabout by the Keapmoat offices this morning at about 10.30 and a banner has been tied to the railings on the roundabout stating.\"DRFC fixtures out now get in touch with the club to arrange hospitality for next season\" or words to that effect.
Prime position so anyone using the link road from the M18 to Bawtry road can't fail to see it.

A big well done to them.

yes ... it speaks volumes when we get complimentary about such a trivial action plan as this!

To be fair to that department they do bring in a significant amount of income and once they have got you they don't let go.
I took a couple of clients to the Barnsley game last season and ever since they have been emailing me trying to get me to spend more money and other information etc etc.
What a shame we don't do that to the names on the database held by the club.
Yes mailing by post can be expensive but it costs nothing to send an email.

The hospitality team are fantastic, I have been to a couple of events and a friend of mine does business with them and he cannot speak highly enough of them. He doesn't support Rovers but would rather give them his money than his own team.

The normal media/marketing team could learn a lot from them!
