I'll bet after this the Tennis bigwigs put a limit on the number of games needed to win a final set.

Can't see the eventual winner of this winning their next match

Ridiculous...

My hat is off to both players for having the physical and mental attibutes to keep going, but any chance they had of winning the Championship (in my opinion) is gone.

You can bank on final set tie-breaks being introduced after this Championship

Not a chance, mate.  2 reasons....

1) this happens once a blue moon.

2) the LTA are a set of stuffy \"old school tie\" types who dont like change.

f**k em.

These 2 no marks have deliberately set this up to go into Wimbledon and all Tennis' Hall of Fame. What was it Mr A Warhol once said 'everybody will be famous for 15 minutes'.

I say they continue til they collapse or one of them as to go in for his dinner. Never did us any harm when we were kids on the field playing footy or playing tennis on the road.

I quite liked the idea to replace penalty shootouts in football matches with a Golden Goal extra time, but with each side having to take off one player every 10 mins.

Maybe they should do that in the tennis. Surgically remove one finger every two games.

Or, for the lasses tennis, have them remove one item of clothing every two games.

While its not a bad idea BST, I reckon one item every two points would be a better option.........

I'm not sure you've thought this through.
I have no desire to see the Williams sisters with their b*llocks slapping against their thighs every time they serve.
