« on July 05, 2010, 05:45:43 pm by DonnyEl »
just moving aside from the iminant signings of sharp and gillet (and possibly stearman) whats happening with OUR out of contract players i.e.

Hayter
Hird
Dumbuya
Clark

Heard clark had signed a 6 month deal, but seen nothing official, and also saw the pics of training today of hird and dumbuya training, but nothing offical.

I think everyone has signed on id be more worried about who is out of contract at the end of this season, apart from stock who else is out of contract that we risk losing for nothing if we persist with not offering current players contracts until the previous one has near enough expired?

6. James Chambers
8. Brian Stock
9. Steve Brooker
17. Martin Woods
23. Byron Webster
26. James Coppinger
33. Gary Woods

Didnt Clark and Dumbaya take 6 month extensions?  Presumably, if they cant impress enough, they will be transfer listed in January.

we defiantly need to offer contracts to the key players in that list, e.g jimmy and stock because no doubt the sharks will circle when they get word that they could sign quality players on a free like greeny and robbo

Agreed, and they would definitely be two who could step up if the unthinkable happened and we get p... p.... pr.....  I cant even say it, I'm so excited at todays events! ;-)

Anyway, offer them new contracts now, not in 6 months time.

Well they're all back in training for pre-season, spotted all four of them on the SSN thing and the website photos, I can't imagine they'd be still here if they hadn't already signed new deals or were about to!

Its great how excited everyone is getting at the prospects of new signings even though nothing has officially been confirmed....but then again we all know what dros is like for the latest info  ;) the next headline on their will probably be sharp rejects burnley.

Here's a thought how about using sharp rejects burnley instead of sheff utd lose appeal :p
