Was it any coincidence after weeks of shall we say, deliberation that Mr Oster signed a 2 year deal..................

Me thinks he may have been told something in confidence.............

You mean, Billy will come if you stay and he'll bring his mate Andy Keough with him.

That was my thought exactly, waiting to see if the board \"showed some ambition\" before he put pen to paper. I always thought the longer this Billy situation dragged on the more optimistic I became of us getting him.

I'm completely overwhelmed by this none the less, and a great big \"Thank you\" to all the board members for achieving this, and sending out our intentions to all in the Championship that we are coming to get ya!!

I love the idea of getting some sort of thank you gift to JR and the board to show our gratitude for pushing the boat out on this one.
Maybe some sort of very tasteful plaque they could hang up in the Boardroom expressing our gratitude at todays events.

A great day in Rovers history!

Hibernating, but this news has woken me from my slumber. It better be true or I'm off back to sleep. In fact, not sure if I'm dreaming now.

JR's gift should be a significant rise in the current number of season ticket sales, not some beautifully engraved plaque. Thats the gift he's looking for nothing else!

Yes, that is one surefire way to let JR know how delighted we all are.  Another way is to join the Rovers Lottery, for just a pound a week.  Norwich and Derby make about £20k a week from their lottery, so wouldnt it be brilliant if we could do the same?  Imagine how many quality players that would allow the board to bring in.

Got ours yesterday, ROB - that's 3 more onto the total. Spending my redundo money already. Don't tell the wife - I did, but I think I got away with it! ;)
