Brooker Question

JR's book says Brooker was bought from Bristol City on an appearances basis with fee rising 125K.

Question - if Brooker goes on loan somewhere (Rotherham? Grimsby? Mansfield - just an idea - I am just making this up) - which would seem to be a good move to get some football under his belt - then would those loan appearances count towards totting up the fee?

Crikey, I'm not sure anyone but a good football agent would have thought on enough to include anything other than 'football league appearances while contracted to DRFC', but to specify 'football league appearances for Doncaster Rovers while contracted to DRFC' would have been a masterstroke. Good question.

Usually it is just appearances for their actual club that count.
