ok bit late starting it but here goes

van bommel for the ducth is it me or has he been getting away with lack of words or bookings from refs in these finals

not saying he is a dirty player of sorts but many a time
i think i have seen overstepping the mark when closing down or putting tackles in on opposite players

The bloke is just a thug. The only criticism of Howard Webb tonight would be that he didn't send De Jong off for the Kung Fu move he pulled on Alonzo.

The Dutch were awful, best team rightly won.

Iniesta? Really?

It was a highly watchable final, though not necessarily for the 'right' reasons.

For what its worth here's my take on the game as penned for the World Cup website
Twinty Tin.

Iniesta - one of the better players of a disappointing tournament in terms of individual talent.

Cheating?

As always there are a number of players prepared to pull, push, dive, hack, stud and kick their opponents. Add that to the whinging t**ts that sit on the ref. and try to make him decide who should receive a yellow card, (but he broke wind in my general direction ref - RED CARD!) and a large number of these international footballers don't actually emerge with much credit.

I didn't think that Iniesta was that high on the cheating list, unless I missed something?

I see on SSN the Kuyt is blaming Howard Webb for their defeat.

Yeah ??.....pathetic
