Why should people who are unemployed be offered cheaper season tickets? I appreciate we've been in a recession and that some people are out of work through no fault of their own. Like everyone else they cut their cloth accordingly and pursue work again. My biggest objection is those that sit on their arse all day, scrounge the benefits and intend to do bugger all about getting work because it 'pays better' to stay at home. They've already sponged from my taxes for long enough and had enough perks that i've had to work damned hard to be able to earn and some i've gone without. I've had the luck and the decency to want to do something with my life without being dependent on others. Anyway the point i'm making is why should we make it easier for these people to get access to more things such as the rovers? Many people on here have saved hard to afford their season tickets - what a smack in the face to see Bob from the seat next to you waltz in having paid half as much as you cos he hasn't got a job. No thanks. How about reduced season tickets for those that have got jobs for a change? Those that do want to work and pay their way? It sounds as daft when you say it the opposite way round as it does in the first place.Rant over. I've got my bullet-proof vest on ready...
