There are two unamed trialists starting for the Rovers tonight. Playing in the new sky blue away kit. Billy and Hayter upfront.

Joel Grandison comments when he joined Cov.

Rioch said: \"Joel is a winger who is 6ft 2in and he is rapid.

\"He's a slightly different shape to his brother and quicker. He's got good feet and made the England Under-16s as a schoolboy, so we have got some talented boys in that group, there's no doubt about that.

Josh Payne

Came through Hammers academy. Was captain of their under 18's.
Still only 20 I believe. Described as a defensive midfielder.
Made an appearance for West Ham against Liverpool.
Currently without a club after being released by Hammers last season.
Spent a short period on loan at Colchester.
Another one to be taken and developed under Shaun's wing ?

Looked decent against Askern the other night, certainly worth another look, but it might be that he is too similar to what we have already. We are quite well stacked in that position.

Thats a good point Bedale,we seemed over run with midfielders of good quality but i would like to see another right-back as the top priority. The problem with O Conner playing as a centre back means that when the rb gets suspended/injured we have to change two positions at once in defence which i personally dont like to see.
