Anybody got long black hair on here?

If so, you better beware, you better take care.

Yes you crazy pop pickers that's right, the mighty Sweet are coming to gods country on August 29th, playing outside and headlining the Cussie Hall music festival. Support acts are to be confirmed, but I understand Kings Of Leon, Muse, Mumford and Sons will be supporting them. I wouldn't be surprised if Florence was there too, as she's been at every gig this summer.

Haven't they been renamed \"Trigger's Broom\", given that the only connection with the Ballroom Blitz days is the guitarist who nobody remembers anyway?

I saw Brian Connolley's re-formed Sweet at Loughborough University in about 1988, not long before the ale killed him. He looked rough as a bear's arse, and didn't make much of an attempt at the high notes.

Was n`t it Steve Priest the one that did all the high pitch vocals?

Steve Priest is the only remaining original member. Other members of the band moved on in different directions but Priest just hadn't got a clue what to do.

I sit one row from the rear in the West Stand. The bloke behind me doesn't care for defensive football and regularly let's rip with his feelings. But just round towards the South South Stand, there's a female who doesn't agree with him. Quite regularly, last season the man at the back said, \"Everyone attack\" and the girl in the corner said, \"Boy I wanna warn ya.\"

Rather coincidentally, on the talky box last night was an extremely dire advert for van insurance and the man in the ad was Andy Scott from Sweet.

I can't remember him, I can just vaguely remember the blonde haired singer and the high pitched back up vocalist guitarist with the colourful long eye lash's.

I saw a photo of Brian, just before he died..Such a shame, he was so very pretty..It's funny really, the singers in the 70's had faces full of slap but they were still so very masculine... Perhaps it was the sideburns...
I love sideburns......And no, before anyone posts Amos thingy up, not great big ones like that....

Tim Curry as Frankenfurter is one of the sexiest things I have ever seen on screen...

I've got a big sideburn, it goes from the bottom of my neck, across my chest, down my six(ahem) pack, around Frank and the Beans, right down passed my chin rest and beyond my south mouth and ends at the small of my back. Now that is masculine.

Didn't know you liked the masculine Hairy Jeremy types pigeon. On this day, I was also very sweaty from all the sport I had done. Fancy a date?
