No. Just sounds like we're not putting everything in.

Commentator says we're not playing the passing football we're accustomed to and, a few players carrying knocks.

I don't think we are, I think we have a few knocks and the players aren't 100%. Plus combine that with a crap pitch then I think we are finding it hard.

If semi final is on Friday, when would final be ??

Bearing in mind we have WBA on Tuesday.

H&W just gone close again.

No surely not, right so if we set out to lose this game then why start important players liks sharp, coppinger, stock etc,,,,
does not add up.
It would also be very wrong towards the fans of drfc who have made the journey to devon.

How is doing what Blackpool did 'losing on purpose'? I'd say that's a combination of SOD's frustration & injuries plus the attitude of 'well they did it and got away with it, so we'll do it too'.

We aren't losing on purpose but clearly the team isn't bothered, doesn't wanna get injured and knows we're going home anyway.

Then that's a bloody wasted trip, I don't think we will be invited again that's for sure.

5-0 what a farce.  We've even had players complaining about the tackles from Havant, sounds like we don't want to be there.

Disgraceful. You'd think we'd have made an effort for the people who have spent good money travelling down.

I do have a degree of sympathy with the fans who have travelled down but they are friendlies after all.

It's not a bloody friendly though , it's a tournament that our fans have booked holidays around. There has to be a really good reason , if so why play at all tonight ?

Final Whistle.

Feel sorry for the fans there. Sounds like we were at half pace however, I don't think you can disguise the problems in defence.

Positive note. Brooker is here/back.

Not a good start for the new kit.

This is not right, I don't care how good a Blue Square South Conference side H&W are, if Rovers cared about winning this comp. there is no way this scoreline would happen. Something has happened to change Rovers whole attitude towards this comp.

I've questioned the wisdom of entering this comp. from day one, and now it seems we have the very reason for my concern in the first place, knocks, and injuries, along with a disenchanted manager because of rule changes. A complete recipe for \"F**k it, let's get the flock outa here\".

Games are games and players need minutes. Unfortunately, some players have played more minutes than SOD wanted.

I'm sure he will have learned more about the triallists, Dumbuya, Friend etc, and helped him decide if we need to bolster any areas. Plus gave Brooker a chance to get on.

Now it's about real preparation and scouting what's available in the transfer market or, make a few calls to call those loan players in.
