Personally, I expect them to hold their own.  Maybe flirt with the relegation end of the table all season, but be good enough to stay up.  They play football the proper way.

The problem they've got is that most of their squad is quite young and not very experienced. Apart from that oldie Tony Roberts that is, he's 41 this year - 442 appearances for the club up to the end of last season. I think he's been with them for 10 years now. As you say, they will be lower end of the table for much of the season but I still say they'll be through the trapdoor at the end of it.

With the crowds that they get i just dont know how they've managed to assemble a side good enough to take them up in the first place. It makes a complete mockery of the likes of Sheff wed who who basically blamed a lack of support from fans, in terms of numbers, for their recent troubles.

I'd have taken Dangerous Dave over Nick Fenton every time (even after that horror show at Hudderfield).

Captain Chaos (Fenton) was awful for us most of the time. His high point was an outstanding game in the Carling Cup, I can't remember whether it was the Villa or Arsenal one, in which he played at full back with a broken leg!

I do remember Nick Fenton playing well in one of the Carling Cup ties. However, the broken leg game was a league game with Brentford. He got a bad knock but carried on for about 15 minutes before being subbed. An x-ray showed a break.

Mind you, when I broke my foot many moons ago I was able to walk straight afterwards with only minor discomfort. It was only the following morning, when I couldn't put any weight on it, that I realised I had a problem.

That said, Nick Fenton went up a lot in my eyes after that incident.
