I know we are not a big club but every club sells good figures to derby games, to say we get 7000-8000 most weeks at keepmoat and we can’t sell 2000 25 mins away it’s embarrsing

It’s embarrassing Barnsley sold more to Pompey 4 hours away and we can’t even sell 2000 to a game that’s 30 mins away. I’m going to back the boys but sometimes our away support is so bad

Why does it matter to you so much what other people do?

As long as you're there if you want to be and you enjoy the game, what difference does it make? We don't get an extra point for selling out.

How do Scunny come into this "embarrasment wise". They get lets call it 4800 at home (not including away Fans) and brought 819 to us That equates to 17% of them coming here

We have averaged 6973 of our fans (not including away Fans) and yet we take there 2000 and that is nearly twice as high at 29% of us going there - so if you are embarrassed for us how red faced must they be feeling ?
Maybe you dont care about them - so I would say dont care about Barnley either then

Of course we don’t get bonus points if we sell out but it’s nice to sell out considering the form we are on and we get 7000-8000 every week and we can’t sell 2000 it goes behond me

We’ve sold behind the goal which is 1700 plus we’ve sold 250 to the side, it’s more than last year but still not sold the full 2200

Again...so what? How does it affect your enjoyment of the day or your life at all?

I'd understand the argument if we weren't taking anyone, because if you were going then it might impact how fun it is being in the away end with hardly anyone around you...but the away end will still be packed tomorrow and it will feel no different to you than if we had taken an extra what, 100 fans? We've sold really good numbers for this game.

For the record, you can chalk two more off that core home support who won't be there tomorrow. My dad can't afford it because of recent funeral costs for his father, and I am working. We are at every home game but have to pick and choose our away games based on cost, circumstance and many other things, as do plenty of other people. For many there is more to life than DRFC no matter how passionate we are about the club.

Chalk one off here as well, sat at front last year to avoid the standers, never saw much of the second half because of standers near the wall, never saw Beestins goal because of that, even when I stood up to try and see
