What's one of the best contributions to the lazy society we enjoy today?

I'll start, seeing as it's my idea....

Amazon shopping.

Rovers have already made a fair whack out of this competition, good news.

The first Rovers game I attended was with my brother, my dad, and my dad's mate, Scawsby Steve.

It's a pity I was too young to remember any details of the game.

A bit of an update on this.

We're organising a Santa march through town before the match. Would be great to see a few there.

12pm Red Lion

12.45 Staff of Life

13.30 Hyde Park WMC

14.15 Walk to stadium.

This appears to be growing arms and legs now with a lot of people getting involved.
The original Saturday Santa would have loved this.

As people have said he played No10 in the final match of the 1934-35 3rd Div North Championship winning season, a 1-0 defeat away at Halifax.

He got in the team photo for the 1935-36 season but doesn't appear to have played at all.

Thanks, Wilts. It's noticeable that once again, we won the bloody league, but couldn't beat Chesterfield in 2 attempts.
