Can't see him getting on the pitch in Kazakhstan unless there are injuries, but we also play Canada in a friendly on Tuesday 9 September, which he's much more likely to feature in.

Gotts sounds like even though no operation required, will be out for a few weeks. Crew also out for the Bradford game. Looks like Close is going to get his chance quite soon. For Bradford we are down to Bailey, Broadbent, Clifton and Close as the likely four in the squad for that game.

He was poor vs accrington and has given goals away twice now

Needs to step up the effort to match his ability.
Starting to think he thinks he is better than he is.

What's happened to the very lesser spotted Westbrooke??

Is he still here? Injured? On a permanent holiday?

Cardiff fans are perplexed how charlie has got in the squad over rubin colwill who has started the season much better.

It has been mentioned many times that Charlie is highly thought of in the wales camp

To be fair, Cardiff fans are perplexed as to how anyone gets in the Wales squad over Rubin Colwill. One of the lads I sit with at Wales games was slating Craig Bellamy's decision to play Liam Cullen ahead of Colwill against Iceland last year... even as Cullen scored his second goal of the night.

As expected, Crew didn't make it onto the field during Wales 1-0 win in Kazakhstan.

I wouldn't be surprised if a few players picked up knocks today as there were some clumsy challenges flying in, so Crew has strong shout of getting some time on the pitch against Canada on Tuesday night.

Crew is obviously talented, but there seems to be some doubt about his attitude and work rate. If selected for international duty you would expect 100% commitment, thereby creating an opportunity to compare this with his performances with Rovers. Is there a possibility that he feels that he can just coast his way through the lesser matches like he appeared to at Accrington?

Maybe, he's young & will have off night/days in him, as per Broadbent etc.
Maybe, as fans, we should realise why we have such talents.
Maybe we should just trust Grant, Cliff & the team.

Crew like everyone else is human, he’ll bring all human complications to the table, behaviours, attitudes, beliefs, arrogance, self doubts, confidence, etc.
And that’s where Grant and his coaching team come in to channel all that in the right way. As he did when Crew came back from the last Wales squad towards the end of last season. Grant told us on his return “ he wasn’t quite on it”.
A couple of games later Crew was back “on it”
and contributed very well.
So relax doubters! And leave Clifton and Sbarra alone as wel, they’re work in progress.

This has been my impression and it is my belief that it had been noticed by others too. And GazLaz, your comment is uninformed and adds nothing of value. You can disagree without being impolite to people. Can we not be respectful to each other?

I entirely, completely disagree with the entirety of post 17. It is the valueless post in this thread.

It wasn’t a comment, it was a question.
