Thought he had an excellent game.

What a difference a Premier League ref makes.

Didn't make the match all about him did he like some of the refs we get. Almost like he was looking to let the game flow as much as possible

I barely noticed him, which is always a sign that the ref has had a good game.

Oh dea, I thought he was poor. The player scoring the first should’ve been sent off for the elbow to Bailey, certainly a yellow at least, he scored from the corner 10 seconds later.
Same player with a taxtical foul just outside their penalty area, rovers player in on goal, no card again.
Owen Bailey makes a similar tactical foul and gets a yellow.
I recognise he was trying to slow the game to flow, but those points annoyed me.

He was good apart from letting Spurs take however long they wanted to get play restarted at set pieces. I'd love to know how long the ball was actually in play last night.

Players helped him by nobody taking the game too seriously.

With var Spurs would have been down to 10 men at 0-0. He was watching the pushing and shoving but ignored the elbow on Bailey who never made a meal of it.
Better than most refs we have had though.

I wonder why they didn’t mention that in this article

Seems like it a case of infamy, infamy they’ve all got it in for me

think it was Danso who fouled on the edge of area could of easily given him a card,I didn’t think it was a foul though although think he explained to Bailey he gave it for a high foot but he also let Middleton off with a card aswell

No not that foul DonnyVic, however that foul you mention was a high foot, by Hanlans ear, not a card though, just a foul.

This was in the first half I think it was either Middleton or Bailey who was in behind them, you could say he was also the last man, but there were defenders more centrally that could’ve tracked over.
