Doncaster FIFA11 Stats.

Hi, my name's Olly and I'm in charge of the Doncaster stats for the new FIFA game coming out in October.

As part of this, I've been asked to create the following players.

Brett Lucas
Brad Grayson
Aaron Jones
Robbie Oldham

I just need to know a bit about them as they're youth players, I haven't seen much of them. Also, will they play much of a part in the first team this season?

Any other suggestions for your team's players would be greatly appreciated.

Please tell the people who make the kits, to make them look half decent. Our kit in fifa 10 had 4 stripes on it, which looks kinda stupid.
 
Most of our youth players are around JET standard. Ive been to the youth training and most of them are blasting in goals from 30-40 yards.

Wasn't the away shirt last season officially the black one? I think it was, but someone at the club (SOD?) can't have liked it as it certainly didn't get much of an airing!

By the way Olly - best football game ever was Sensible World of Soccer on the Amiga. Can't stand modern football games - far too complex and difficult to control (for me at least). Any game where I spend more time looking at what buttons I am pressing than watching the screen is out. One button and direction control is all that I ever needed!

I'd make all four of them around 50, they won't play much this season. Oh and make sure You make our team good! Oh and Sam Hird isn't 5ft7!

I suggest putting them 4 youth players around the 50 mark and putting Billy Sharp, John Oster, James Coppinger and James O'Conner around the 75 mark. Please dont underrate all our players for another year running. The stats on fifa over previous years have been unrealistic and im starting to debate whether to even waste £40 each year.

I agree, on fifa 10 we were rated a 2 star team when other teams lower down the league were 2 and a half - 3 which does not make sence AND teams like leeds and Charlton were rated 2 and a half asnd they were in league 2. the ratings of temas and the players need to be on how good the players are not how 'big' the teams are.

Ryan Mason at 68 would suggest he is one of our best players,does he warrant that tag after 1 game ?

Josh Payne at 65 is a bit high too when you rate wilson at just 63,have you seen payne play against champonshp oppisition like you have wilson ?

yeah put Doncaster as a 3 star team and drop the bigs clubs ratings. It is called FIFA 11 which is supposed to have present data, not data from 5 or 10 years ago. Get real EA, i cant take your shit anymore!

Eh? Was I playing a different copy, all the numbers were right for me.  

As for the kits, they were right last year. Our official away kit was the black one, we just didn't use it much. The year before however they f**ked it up, we've never had the awesome blue & white hooped one in Fifa because on Fifa 09 they stuck to the Carlotti blue one from the year before, which was rubbish.

The stats posted on the other page were pretty accurate, only exception was Sam Hird rated at 60 & Dumbuya at 65, probably just swap that around and make Sam Hird taller than in previous games.

Wow, some people seem to be overrating our players in this thread. The only players who could be close to 70 are Stock, Oster, O'Connor and Sharp. Coppinger, Woods and Chambers should be around 66/67ish.

As for those youngsters just put them around the same skill as any other previous youngsters we've had, like Fisher and Clarke's skill on it last season. The only thing we know about any of those is that Grayson is a striker.

Grayson i'd give him highish speed and Clark has good ball control and passing, i'd say Clarks a decent league 2 player at best at the moment but room for potential




Please please please stop rating Donny as a rubbish football side, we should have high passing attributes at least and be rated fairly good in comparison to the rest of the league
