http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IsufsFVFtWIcant wait til he comes out to bat now. I feel a special welcome from the Barmy Army
What you have to remember is that it's genetic with the Australians and you can't really blame them. Ponting's ancestors were deported from the Mother country? for refusing to accept the rule of law and authority and this is merely an example a family tradition. Ponting's great grandfather , i imagine, probably stole a policeman's helmet
time to go, disgraceful and not the example a captain should be setting...... come on England
Doesn't come as any surprise. Australia have always been the world's worst losers. They have no concept whatsoever of taking it on the chin when they get their arse's whipped. fcuking great int it?And the ultimate irony is that they call US \"whinging poms\". There is no-one in the whole world who whinges like a beaten Aussie.

I'm surprised Ponting batted. Apparently he has a badly fractured ego
\"Still in my heart, and in my mind, I believe that he inside-edged that ball,\" Ponting said.\"And I think if (Erasmus) looked at the replay properly, in the way that it needs to be looked at, I think everyone will understand that that Hot Spot mark wasn't a long way away from where the ball passed the bat.\"
I'm glad he only got a fine and not a one game ban. We don't want him to miss the Sydney celebration test do we.The only thing that can save them tonight is Cusworth Rovers turning up covered in factor 50.
Indeed, that England captain argued with an umpire who was known to be belligerent and full of his own self importance, and who was umpiring in Pakistan in a match that was Pakistan v England, oh and he was Pakistani. Although the Gatting incident will always be remembered, it's worth noting that he'd previously (before England) had a major bust up on the pitch with the N Zealand Captain over dodgy decisions going against the visiting country. Ponting was arguing with 3 umpires, technology, every TV angle and in various speed motions.....even though he was repeatedly proved wrong. Gatts was arguing with an incompetent homer of a single umpire only. At the end of the day it's one rule for them and one for usand even more at the end of the day, we invented the bloody game, so we should always have the decisions go our way regardless
