If I won the lottery (or Euro millions) I wouldn't invest any money in any football club. The reason being that figures involved in football are eye-popping at the best of times and clubs generally need to start living within their means.

I'd invest in Rovers if I won the Euro millions. £100million jackpot isn't it? That should allow me to join the board on an equal footing with the other 3, if they'd allow me on board. I wouldn't expect to make anything out of it, well I'd expect to spend a fair few quid to be honest, it'd just be quite nice being able to give the Rovers a bit more muscle in the transfer market.

I'd employ a couple of people to invest wisely so hopefully I could keep up the hobby going without eating into the capital.

I'll keep my fingers crossed for you John, especially as all I ever seem to get is one poxy star...lol

Ah well, it's nice to dream isn't it?

Mine, the big dream is to see my family all secure, help out the friends I love the most, and then just walk away from Heacham with only my memories, the clothes on my back and my photographs.. Up sticks and move to Yorkshire, a new start for me and my kids..

One of those nice three story houses in Ilkley or a penthouse apartment in Leeds perhaps, or better still, one of those lovely houses down Bennetthorpe and begin life again..

If it was a Winalot I would be straight on the phone to JR, not to butt in, just to put my more than twopennorth in and help buy the stadium. If it was the normal just a few million(!!!!!) then the sponsorship deals and the box, buy my local and keep the current good landlords, or offer a certain one in Donny a cheap rent on it. Get my family sorted and get going fishing as often as I could, I might even go back to angling coaching again. Dreams eh? It will never happen, I can't get the Rovers one never mind owt else!
