I'd refer anyone looking to identify the causes of a suicide to this:http://www.samaritans.org/media-centre/media-guidelines/reporting-suicide-tips-journalistsPoints 2 and 8 in particular. However, I am in little doubt these two DJs will now be hounded out of their jobs.
I think it's shocking how these DJs will now be crucified for this. How often do practical jokes happen? They are unlucky she has gone and done this. Anyone could have taken the call, I bet there's not many that would have ended it.
How were the dj's to know that?
The management are to blame not the dj's. They have been totally remiss in their duties for not having a procedure in place for dealing with enquiries about Kate. I'll bet they gave her a right hard time afterwards as well. Those of you blaming the dj's need to get a sense of humour and some perspective. Where were you yesterday after the prank call? I don't recall any of you being up in arms about it then. There is an easy solution. Abolish the Royal Family. Sorted.
Although why am I not suprised that you find it funny.
