Hazard boots the ball boy
« on January 23, 2013, 09:26:01 pm by MachoMadness »
Anyone watching the Chelsea v Swansea game see this? You couldn't miss it really, bizarre scenes. Sure to be a talking point in the next few days.

The ball boy picks the ball up, doesn't give it back, and then when Hazard tries to take it back the ballboy flops down and lays on top of the ball. Hazard boots the ball out from under him, ball boy acts like a bit of a babby and Hazard gets sent off. Thoughts?

I'm originally from Swansea and desperately want them to win - but that ball boy needs banning from football - I am ashamed.

Hazard should have known better than to become involved and give the ball boy the chance to play act - but never a red.

Cheat ?? Why is that cheating ??

No he shouldn't have done it but i'm afraid if I was in charge of the ball boys, he wouldn't be getting asked to do it again

I do feel for the guy though. The ball boy was cheating and Hazard was trying to get on with it. I see why he's been sent off, because he has kicked out, but surely a talking to could have straightened it out. Totally bizarre though. Why that ball boy felt the need to do that is beyond me.

Blame all round.

Ball boy for being a cock end, Hazard for not showing restraint.

Spot on with the red but given how ball boys across the country seem to have been instructed to act like t**ts (ours included) in the name of gaining miniscule advantages then I'm surprised its taken so long for something like this to happen.

Sad thing is the person in charge of ball boys is proabably congratulating the little actor.

Ballboy was a first rate tit, the whole purpose of him being there is to get the ball back into play quicker

The only one cheating was the ball boy, having said that Hazard kicked him in the ribs and that`s violent conduct and a straight red card, the ball boy probably learned his rolling about bit from the many Chelsea players that have done it many times over the years

Hazard deserves a ban similar to what Cantona got to be honest, all his wages paid to the taxpayer and Chelsea banned from the cup next year. Absolutely disgraceful from him and anyone defending him is out of line.

Solve all this by having Welsh teams playing in the League of Wales. Why are they playing in the English Football League in the 1st place. The 1 thing that gets up my t*ts is them singing Land of my Fathers, I think I can criticise because my Mams family are Welsh which makes me 1/2 Welsh.
Back to the original post he clearly toe poked the ball out from under the ball boy and the kid has watched too many MOTD rolling about like he had had 5 ribs broken. Disgracefull decision by Mr Foy. Swansea should be severly fined for the action of the ball boy.
Williams says i saw him kick him in the ribs you can't do that ........utter tripe
I shouldn't be posting here because I've criticised people for posting non Rovers stuff but this has got my back up

If I hit the bloke I would be an animal Thames. But just like Hazard, I don't.

You are over reacting.

Ball boy needs to have a look at himself, if he's part of the Swans youth set-up they are getting some poor coaching.
Hazard should have bided his time, the lad would've looked more of a bell-end and ref would've added the time on.

Nice we're teaching kids the art of rolling about and appealing to the ref before we teach 'em anything else. Maybe we'll be able to compete with Spain yet.

when it comes out the kid has got bruised ribs and psychological damage there is going to be a lot of red faces on here. Hazard needs a ban to set a precedent.

Is he your son?

He cant be defended - he cheated and caused the whole situation.
If I was his parent I would be embarrassed by his action and reaction.

The issue is not the same though.

He kicks the ball from under him, quite clearly, and the ball boy makes the most of it. He's not going out of his way to hurt the ball boy is he? I can see why Hazard's been sent off but to start calling people animals over THAT is ridiculous.

Ok, now I feel bad for posting and feeding this obvious WUM. Are you Alex Ferguson, by any chance? He could have killed him!

Hazard wasn't out of control or doing anything dangerous, he kicks the ball out and steps over the boy making sure he doesn't stand on him.

I'm pretty sure I just heard Glenn Hoddle say the ball boys are 'bent'. You'd think he would have learnt his lesson!
