If PD did go who could we bring in
« on January 05, 2014, 04:49:49 pm by Xtrarover »
We're in bad form at the moment and see a lot of people blame the manager to which I agree, some of his decisions have been poor, but I'm just not sure who we could get into steady the ship.

I know give him a chance but for example at the Millwall game Wellens was playing up front? Why?

If Dickov went then I wouldn't look further than Rob Jones- a real leader of men. I still think that he was the main reason we won League One last season and the main reason we had such a team spirit. Let BF handle the off the field stuff.

He's not going anywhere, not unless he chooses to.

This thread should be used to shut up anyone calling for Dickov to go. Horrendous suggestions.

I'm not a religious man but I think he became unavailable just over 2000years ago - he was made available for a short time after that, apparently with an attempted comeback, but that didn't last very long! Think I'll stick with PD thanks!

At last we agree on something and I'm glad you are backing him.
To be honest I can't understand why this topic has raised its head.
Dickov has done a good job up to now under very difficult circumstances and I think he has the potential to become a great manager.
Don't forget all the injuries and he's had the takeover or no takeover thing bouncing around in the background all the time so he doesn't know which transfer table he can dine from.
I hope the people you speak to in authority have the same view as you.

Could do with him upfront... At least we know he'd be good on the end of crosses.  :woohoo:

If the Wallsall manager was to replace Dickov would he want to bring his assistant with him ? Not that I think Dickov should be replaced

XtraRover we don't just 'bin' managers like that .......we never had and we never should especially under the circumstances that Dickov has had to work under.

Threads like these are 'self destructive' and the very fact that you have few posts to your name tells me that you are stirring up trouble deliberately a situation that the moderators should look at . I've noticed that you have bought some other 'shit stirrers' with you too !

There was a time, believe it or not, that you had made less than 100 posts.

Does that mean you were trouble then?

The moderators shouldn't allow anyone who has made less than 100 posts have an opinion in my opinion... you should have to accrue your first 100 purely by congratulating other posters and saying how much you love Rovers.

I fear that your crude attempts at sarcasm will be lost to many on here. However I stand by my position that deliberate 'shit stirring' posts by casual users at best should be looked at.

Toyko, whilst you have made less than 100 posts I would say that at least half to two thirds of them have been either, attacking other individual posters, attacking the forum in general or attacking the VSC who host the forum. This supposed to be a forum to discuss Doncaster Rovers, are you sure you are in the right place?

And I still think your idea of trebling up on defenders at the cost of midfield and attack is barking mad.

Just my observations and opinions like.

HH you don't know me so please don't write to me in your tone/manner.
The post stipulates "IF" I like Paul and want him to stay. It was a question just to see and explore people's opinions.
