We've not been relegated due to referees. We've been relegated because we only managed 44 points, and that wasn't good enough.
As usual, the naysayers are already out in force.Say what you will, we had our fate sealed by a very poor refereeing decision today.End of story.

How can anyone with a scintilla of intelligence blame our relegation on neutral referees? We played crap against Reading, Bolton and Birmingham; got a single point in our last 7 games; scored less than a goal a game and only Barnsley had a worse goal difference than us. Are referees responsible for all that? Now PDX_Rover might not like this but here goes: We are the authors of our own downfall. Nothing more, nothing less.
We've had the shitty end of the stick all season, I have n't seen the penalty today yet, but just look back at recent games, Miete sending off at Millwall that was rescinded, the horrendous foul on Tamas leading up to Ipswich winning goal, that was a sending off all day long, 3 incidents in recent games that have had a huge bearing on our fate this season
If you spend the majority of away games camped inside your own box then you're likely to concede a large number of penalties (correct decisions or not). Why have Leicester had loads of penalties this season? It's because they're in the opponents box a lot, not because they get favourable decisions. We invited our own 'bad luck' by not being good enough and not being able to get a foothold in too many away games.Nor were we good enough to earn the breathing space to allow for any bad decisions today. We got what we deserved. Blaming external influences is a massive cop out and deflects from our actual problems that are within our control.
