I'm targeting the Good Friday game v Bradford. A lot will depend on how soon I can drive. Would be good if we do make the play offs.

Barring any mishaps I will be going home next week. I am still walking with a frame and will have to live on the ground floor. But I will be home.

The physios will be coming to see me and hope to have me on crutches and able to tackle the stairs within 2-3 weeks of me going home. Next stop The Moat!

Some good, a lot indifferent, I'll bet. My experience of Physios is very mixed. I still have some private health insurance so I'm looking at getting additional physio once I have the discharge date confirmed. My money is on Wednesday for going home.

Still in hospital. On the day I was to be discharged I had a very severe stomach upset. I suspect this was due to a change of antibiotics.

I'm back on my old antibiotics and am feeling better now. Not sure when I will be able to go home but probably within about a week. At least the leg continues to heal.

Good news, Baroni.   I expect you will be climbing the walls by now.  Get well soon, pal.

Funny that I gave this thread the title MONDAY as it seems as though I shall finally get home next Monday. I came in to hospital on a Monday as well, 24th November, although I did manage to escape for about a week in early December!

There's still a long way to go and I can only manage to walk short distances with a Zimmer frame. The next step is to get onto crutches. That will have to wait till I am home.

Still hope to get back to a game before the season ends, but realistically Copps' Testimonial may be my next game.

Wonder if you could like ;'rentaroom' in the KM? I heard tjhey got plenty of spare ones. Save you having to worry about the travel. They might just throw a box in with it even.....

Good luck John! My trauma is now stable - but crap and will remain so for 2 or 3 months yet,

Bob
