Alex is currently playing centre half. Still their top goalscorer with 11 though.

Nope.

Whiteman has already amassed 25 appearances for us, including yesterday's game at Oxford.

I wonder how many other players have done that in our history?

Next up, a player we frequently were linked with once upon a time, and who we eventually signed a couple of years. It all turned out to be a little bit disappointing though...

How the hell was Brooker ever fit enough to play 17 games?  Without checking, I would have had him down as about 6 or 7.

Mind you, he did score one of the best goals at the KM in the end of season 1-1 draw vs Leicester a few years ago.

How the hell was Brooker ever fit enough to play 17 games?  Without checking, I would have had him down as about 6 or 7.

Mind you, he did score one of the best goals at the KM in the end of season 1-1 draw vs Leicester a few years ago.

He made the one appearance in November 2008 then all of his other appearances came in clusters in the 2010/11 season - August, November, January and April/May.

The rest of the time he was injured.

I too was surprised that he'd made that many appearances though!

Ah, the enigma that was Steve Brooker. Was at the game at Watford and he certainly had an impact, scoring then dumping one of their players over the wall!

If myth, and poor memory prevails, he scored with his first touch, and his last with the screamer v Leicester and f all in-between!

Also shocked he clocked up 17 appearances!
