I was told today the club is up for sale. True or not?

I would doubt that but stranger things have happened, but they did say if someone came in with sufficient funding they would sell

I don't think it'd be down to just the funding but knowing that the club would be in safe hands as well.

No idea if it is or not, but to be honest with the shit they get from some sections of our so called supporters, I wouldn't blame them one bit if they wanted out

Is this post about an irrelevant piece of land for sale or rumour making about the club it self bring up for sale . As the club have a 99 year lease on the Keepmoat and only the club can put up for sale ,not the council .

Read the article properly. The land is council land. It isn't owned by Club Doncaster, Doncaster Rovers or whoever you want to call it.

The Keepmoat isn’t up for sale . Nore is the land it’s sat on .

I hope the club is not up for sale but it depends on the offer going forward I presume.

You can see with the current owners we are going forward both on and off the pitch.

A part of me would love rovers to spend millions but I know it would more than likely end up in tears a little while later.

It would be great to have some in depth info of how far we would be off being able to run the club now without the need to put in for large future investment and growth just as info of course.

The owners have always said they'd listen to sensible offers that they thought would be good for the future of the club, so you could argue it's always on the market.

Everything is always on the market, even wembley, but theres a difference between that and actively seeking bids. Not even sure how you'd do that with a football club.

Off a very credible source....... Bramall is the only one putting money!! Nothing against the other members of the board .... but it’s off somebody very very credible and a few others have heard the same....since dick passed away there only TB who invested and that’s on a smaller scale!! That’s what I’ve heard of a very credible source and I thinks it’s true

You have been quoting these type of things, with a board lies to us since about 2012, can you just give us a knock when one of them is true.

I'm all up for someone letting us know what is going on but I'd really only ever listen to SM for the truth on these type of serious matters.

If your story is the truth, I would be a little worried, but with it being posted from raggytash at the moment it will just get pushed to one side.

If you heard it from a very credible source why do you only "think it's true"? It's either true or it's not so come on which is it? Who are the few others, anyone we know who can verify your thoughts?
