I'm with you. All the changes at Trent Bridge have been for the better, yet it still seems to keep that old-fashioned cricket ground feel, maybe because the old pavilion is still centre stage.
Will we be in the same division ?
Come on you Whites - the only Team "based" in Leeds that I followWill have to pay Trent Bridge another visit as it is a while ince I went * and it looks far superior to those days and in fact looks tremendous* Last visit was the day after Sir Geoff ran out Derek "Arkle" Randall obviously the local here. Arkle sent up his dismissal next day with maybe Graham Roope. They went onto the Wicket with and all the Crowd watching Randall shoutes YES and set off running. When he got half way down Roope ? held up his hand and shouted NO leaving Arkle to troop off head bowedSir Geoff duly completed a century that day - and the guy at the side of me said "thats it mate - you can start breathing again" Perception of the highest order
Lots of cricket this week. Hopefully see England set up a win in the next two days on Now TV then over to Headingley on Wednesday where Yorkshire have set up the same.
Good response this morning but we will still be doing well to get anything out of this game.If we do somehow survive this season, next season is a real worry for me. Can’t help but feeling there is some cost cutting taking place and losing Brooks is a massive blow.
Why do people think it's wrong to talk about cricket , the races , rugby league/union on this forum . Always apologising for it . The clue is in the title " Off Topic " , personally I love all of the above and athletics .
Coad was a name mentioned last winter but he was given a rest, I expect at the very least he'll be on a Lions tour this time around.Fantastic win, especially after the first day. After last week Kyle Hogg tweeted "When we beat Yorkshire next week do we send them down?!" For some reason he's been pretty quiet today. Also found out today that because I bought tickets for the Pakistan test this year I can get up to 4 tickets for each day of the Ashes game at Headingley next year. All in all a pretty successful day!YOOOOOOOOOOOORKSHIRE!
