Particularly IF a senior member of our midfield was to leave the club.
There's no foundation to believe Rowe is leaving. We have Whiteman, Kane, Copps, Rowe, Crawford, Blair, Sadlier, Taylor, and Mason if needed for the midfield berths so I don't see the need for anything essential. McCann might review where we are towards the end of January and possibly look for some insurance if he thinks we need it.
I keep forgetting Ben Khemis exists, so he won't be a loss to the squad.Shame it hasn't worked out but that's how it goes. He was a bit of a gamble signing, a "let's see if we can make something of him" and it hasn't ended up being possible. Hope his fresh start kicks his career into gear.

If Ben Kemis and Anderson weren't pushing for a first team start but the new incumbents are more likely to then the squad is strengthened.McCann has already said, with Wright and Mason returning imminently, he is unlikely to add a defensive player in January. Although he wouldn't rule it out if needs must.
