Think this means he’s number 1 next season. Don’t think Marosi will sign a new deal
Why not.? Every club needs 2 keepers good enough for regular first team selection..
You can make that argument about any player who isn’t a first choice 100% of the time..
Have to agree, I don't think Marosi will stay now. McCann already said that 2 of the 3 remaining first team players not under contract for next season (discounting the veterans - so we all took this to mean Lawlor, Marosi and Andrew) had not agreed to the nee deals offered so wouldn't be talked to about it until the summer, so that now must be Marosi and Andrew.I'm perfectly happy to have Lawlor staying but I do prefer Marosi. Both are good, both could get even better as they are only young for a goalkeeper, and with Kones highly regarded we are in good shape between the sticks.
I expect Marosi will want to be a No 1 somewhere. He's had long enough as a No 2 however, I'm in the camp that thinks he is our No 1.
