Wilks for me, brilliant again. But a lot of players had really good games, not least Andrew, Crawford, Butler in the second half and Marosi.

I thought Matty Blair was awesome today followed closely by Wilks - can’t understand how Danny Andrew got it

It's a funny old game. Andrew was excellent, scored and contributed a lot to attacks. Blair was largely dominated in the first half by their winger and for me was our weakest performer but in a very good display by the whole team.

Crawford for me. Played the holding midfield role perfectly

Crawford for me too but I also thought that Andrew had a very good game, especially in the second half.

Unusually, Wilks didn’t go for the near post for his goal.
I can’t rememember for certain but I think that all his goals bar two one on ones have beaten the keeper on the near post.

I was really impressed with Sadlier, and think he's shaping up to be a good player for us. If he wasn't knackered after 65 mins he'd be in with a shout I think.

slightly disappointing that earlier tired so quickly, as up till then he always looked like he could produce something...

Good point about Sadler, who really 'hit the wall' at about minute 60! Match fitness clearly not quite there, but he has had a much longer season than anyone else. Danny Andrew was easily our best player in the 2nd half and scored a good goal in the first half.

Sadlier was excellent and once he gets his fitness up to speed for L1 (which is a million miles away from LoI level) he will be a fantastic player for us. Another one improving at a rate of knots.

Congratulations Danny Andrew, our only player to be selected for the FL Paper div 1 team of the week.
   It's a funny old game.

Interesting comments on this thread, as especially in the first half I thought Crawford and Rowe we’re struggling in their positions but grew into the game later on.

I think Sadlier at the moment is best suited as an impact sub?  At one point in the first half, Crawford took a quick corner to Sadlier and if he had returned the ball quickly, Crawford would have been on the corner of the box with time and space to curl a shot into the top corner..

A scrappy affair but nonetheless a hard worked victory and a dominant excellent performance by Wilks..
