Of course he’s been getting the service, he missed two good chances on Tuesday evening, the chances he was putting away earlier in the season he just simply isn’t putting away now. A game or two out may do him some good. And give the likes of sadlier and wilks the opportunity to step up

Their record in that period was:P13 W4 D6 L3.Which is God awful form for them. The principle is that if you have a proven goalscorer who is going through a bad patch, you stick with him.Spurs record is actually better without Kane so maybe they should have dropped him. Either way, I’m not suggesting he’s useless or we should get rid. But he’s not even looking like scoring at the moment and in my opinion a slight change of the front 3 at this moment in time would benefit us. So who would be your front three?I’d have marquis in my front 3 usually, but for the last two games I’d play wilkes centrally with copps and sadlier. Or I’d play Blair with sadlier and wilks and play copps in the middle with whiteman and Kane

Did you see Marquis's tweet after he was picked for the PFA side? There's some bell ends following us who are going to be a big part of why the best forward we've had in 50 years is going to leave this summer.
Well the man himself is obviously riled by the insults and moaners.

As a non twitterer I didn't see his tweet BST.What did he say please.
He was everything you want from a centre forward today, a danger when he had the ball, got in their faces, found space, and brought other players into the game. If you don't rate him, you have a lot to learn about football, he is the best we have had for years.

It's about appreciating his quality and recognising his potential - a skill that is lost on some.

sha66y, he does not have bad games, he is just better in some than others. In every game he does something well, either work rate, bringing other players into the game, or just being a complete problem to the central defenders. And he always gives full commitment, he may not have a good game, but he does not have bad games, it is the supporters that expect too much, nobody plays well every game, even international players. But some players like John Marquis force the opposition to change their game, or pay special attention to them, Wilks and Kane are just starting to get that attention, Copps has had it for years, and why like John Marquis they are so important to us.
